Just recently, it was revealed that the Royal Air Force QRA had intercepted a Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi to London Heathrow.

RAF QRA blocks Kenya Airways Nairobi-London flight…

Update #1 @ 15:30 UK time – KQ100 has been intercepted by RAF QRA and is descending past FL100 in preparation for arrival at London Stansted Airport.
Update #2 @ 15:31 UK time – 5Y-KZG is the Boeing 787 operating this flight today, the aircraft was delivered to the Nairobi-based airline in April 2015, making it 8.5 years old at the time of writing.
Update #3 @ 15:33 UK time – One of the RAF Typhoons which intercepted the Boeing 787 is understood to have been ZJ849.
Update #4 @ 15:34 UK time – Kenya Airways flight KQ100 is now at FL90 east of London Stansted Airport.
Update #5 @ 15:37 UK time – KQ100 is descending to 6,000ft on the base leg towards runway 22 at Stansted Airport.
Update #6 @ 15:39 UK time – KQ100 is now on final approach to runway 22 at Stansted Airport.
UPDATE #7 @ 15:44 UK time – Landed! KQ100 appears to have landed safely at Stansted Airport after being intercepted by a RAF Quick Reaction Alert Typhoon.

UPDATE #8 @ 15:44 UK time – There are unconfirmed reports that a bomb disposal vehicle is on its way to Stansted Airport. Please stay tuned for further updates.
Update #9 @ 15:46 UK time – KQ100 has departed runway 22 at Stansted and is currently taxiing to the designated stand where the RAF QRA intercept will take place.
Update #10 @ 15:51 UK time – If this is indeed a bomb threat, it would be the second today, following that of a Scoot Boeing 787 in Singapore earlier today.
Update #11 @ 15:53 UK time – KQ100 has arrived at its designated stand, stay tuned for more information on this.
Update #12 @ 15:55 UK time – Queues are starting to form at Stansted Airport as flights are being postponed due to the developing situation.
Update #13 @ 16:00 UK time – There is no official confirmation at this time, but there are no flights in or out of Stansted Airport at the moment.
Update #14 @ 16:13 UK time – Pictures have been released from the scene at Stansted Airport, with emergency services currently in heavy demand.
Update #15 @ 16:18 UK time – Operations have resumed at the airport following this diversion.
Update #16 @ 16:19 UK time – This is the second time in three days that the KQ100 has been involved in some kind of accident.
On October 9th, flight KQ100 declared a medical emergency en route to London Heathrow Airport, following which today's incident occurred.

UPDATE #18 @ 17:05 UK time – Kenya Airways has released a statement regarding today's diversion to London Stansted Airport.
Update #19 @ 17:11 UK time – We understand that the defence team has been dispersed and police and emergency services are currently sorting out the remains of the mess caused by this incident.
UPDATE #20 @ 17:35 UK time – ADS-B exchanges indicate KQ100 is either being towed or gliding towards departure. It is unclear at this time.
Update #21 @ 1741 UK time – KQ100 crossing the runway at London Stansted Airport.
Update #22 @ 17:46 UK time – KQ100 is heading to the gate at Stansted, presumably to disembark all passengers. It is unclear at this stage whether the flight will continue on to Heathrow for the short haul.
UPDATE #23 @ 18:47 UK time – Kenya Airways has released a new statement regarding the incident which occurred on today's flight from Nairobi to Heathrow.
Update #24 @ 19:09 UK time – 5Y-KZG, the Boeing 787 involved in today's diverted flight, is preparing to depart for a re-positioning flight to London Heathrow Airport. It had a slot for 18:45 UK time but has not yet moved.
