Our Zone Classification service helps organizations systematically identify hazardous areas and classify them based on the likelihood of explosive atmospheres. The scope includes:

• Review of plant layout, process diagrams, and hazardous material inventories

• Identification of sources of release for flammable gases, vapors, and dusts

• Assessment of frequency, duration, and extent of hazardous zones

• Classification of areas into Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2 (gas/vapor) and Zone 20, Zone 21, Zone 22 (dust)

• Evaluation of ventilation, ignition sources, and protective systems

• Compliance verification against IEC 60079, IS/IEC 60079, NEC, and Petroleum Rules

• Recommendations for selection of explosion-proof equipment and protective systems

• Preparation of Zone Classification drawings and documentation for statutory compliance
